4 items of business on MH City Council agenda Thursday

The Mountain Home City Council will consider four ordinances when its meets in regular session Thursday evening at 6.Three of the four items were introduced in prior sessions. Those three are proposals to amend the entertainment district in historic downtown Mountain Home, general requirements for boarding and securing all residential, commercial and industrial buildings and vacating easements located between two lots in Big Creek Estates, Phase I.

The fourth ordinance would amend a number of others to “redefine the wage scale and compensation plan in order to enhance efficient management within the departments of the City of Mountain Home.”

Treasurer Marshella Norell is also scheduled to present budget adjustments to the council.

KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot news has also been advised Edith Mitchell, a Mountain Home resident and a World War II veteran, will be recognized at the council meeting. Mitchell is set to be presented with an award and Military Women’s Memorial Living Legend proclamation.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Mountain Home Municipal Building.
