Sally Gilbert appointed to Farmers & Merchants Bank market president

Mountain Home, Ark. — Sally Gilbert, a long-time Mountain Home resident and community banking leader, has joined Farmers & Merchants Bank as the new market president for Mountain Home and the surrounding communities.

Farmers & Merchants says Gilbert will bank in the region with a focus on true community banking, ensuring the highest quality professional service and guiding the institution’s long-term investments and commitment to the Mountain Home community.

Gilbert says, “This bank has an incredible history of service and personal relationships in our community, and I couldn’t be more honored to have the opportunity to lead the bank into our next chapter of support for our customers as they work to achieve their goals, there are so many great things on the horizon, both for the bank and those we serve, and I’m truly excited to bring them all here to the Mountain Home community.”

With more than 25 years of community banking experience and deep roots in the Mountain Home community, Gilbert’s leadership will bring a relationships-first approach to Farmers & Merchants Bank operations in the market. She most recently served as Mountain Home community bank president for Arvest Bank and before that worked with Centennial Bank as senior vice president of business development.

Gilbert, her husband, Tony, and three daughters, Grace, Kate and Anna, attend Real Life Church in Mountain Home. In addition to her work supporting bank customers and business leaders in Mountain Home and surrounding communities, she serves on the board of directors for Baxter Regional Medical Center and is a member of the Mountain Home Rotary Club. She earned her degree from Missouri State University.
