An Ozark County man, 65-year-old Charles R. Pace of Isabella, escaped serious injury Monday morning when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a rock, extensively damaging his pickup.
Pace was reportedly transported by private vehicle to seek medical attention.
Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred 2 miles east of Isabella on U.S. Highway 160 at 9.
The crash reportedly occurred due to Pace’s vision being obstructed by the sun.
His vehicle was towed from the scene.
