A trial for a Fulton County man charged in the 2020 death of a Poinsett County construction worker got underway this week, according to a report from KAIT.Twenty-seven-year-old Kristopher Gould of Mammoth Spring was charged with negligent homicide, failure to maintain control and having an open alcohol container in the vehicle in July of last year when his car crossed through the divider barrels along Interstate 555 near Tyronza and struck 22-year-old Preston Brayfield of Kansas City.
The KAIT report says Gould is out on a $5,000 bond and sat quietly in the back of the courtroom as details were settled ahead of jury selection Monday.
