A fire in the Lone Rock area destroyed a storage trailer and a travel trailer on Monday. Law enforcement says the property owner, identified as Leaquitia Richardson, was not residing at the address, and no injuries were reported.

According to the incident report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 911 dispatch paged out the Lone Rock Fire Department of a semi trailer on fire in the yard of 480 County Road 126. A pair of deputies arrived and made contact with Richardson’s daughter. She stated after burning a small fire at around 4:30 Monday afternoon, she noticed a semi box trailer had caught fire.

Lone Rock Fire Chief Dale Bonnett says the cause of the fire is unknown. Both trailers were reportedly used for storage. Crews were able to extinguish a brush fire nearby and were on the scene for nearly 2 1/2 hours.
