The Mountain Home High School wrestling teams competed in the Battle for the Bling Friday and Saturday at Fayetteville.
The Bombers ended up second on the boys’ side, with Bentonville getting the win. Austin Callies and Brayden McCoy won their weight classes; Michael Davis, Joseph Pierski and Elijah Lagg finished second; Noah Lagg was third in his division; Christian Mason took fourth place; and Isaiah Merry ended up fifth.
Mountain Home’s girls were third behind Fayetteville and Nevada. Emalyn Stephens was second in her weight class; Brianna Balsano and Amelia Frounfelter finished third; and Jasmin Flores, Karleigh Drewry, Kylie Alford and Katie Lowe ended up fourth.
