Officials from multiple agencies will soon resume the search for an airplane that reportedly crashed Sunday evening near the Fulton/Sharp County line. A spokesman for the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office says the search was called off between 1-2 Monday morning and will resume later in the day. Fog in the area has hampered search crews’ efforts in finding the plane.

KAIT reports the search area is near Nine Mile Ridge Road and Slick Rock Road in Sharp County, northeast of Hardy.

No information has been released about what type of plane is involved or how many passengers were aboard.
