A Mountain Home man who had gone out to pick up dinner last week, returned home to find someone in his bathtub with his shorts on inside out. Mountain Home Police arrested 42-year-old Ronny Lee Reynolds on two charges.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the homeowner returned to his house on Ouachita Avenue last Wednesday evening and noticed both locks on his front door were locked, even though he had only locked one of them when he left. He also noticed the door frame was broken, and there was a spot of blood on the floor.
After entering the residence, the homeowner heard noises upstairs. He went to investigate and found Reynolds in his bathroom.
When police arrived, they described Reynolds as extremely incoherent, wearing a pair of shorts inside out, covered in scratches and blood on his body.
While police were on the scene, a woman called from an address two doors down the street saying her husband was missing. The homeowner then told law enforcement he did recognize the man in his house as his neighbor.
Reynolds is charged with a felony count of residential burglary and a misdemeanor of public intoxication. His bond is set at $20,000.
