Another boil water order has been issued for area residents. The Arkansas Department of Health says the notice is in effect for all customers of Pyatt Waterworks.
The order was issued as a precautionary measure due to a malfunction with the system’s chlorinator and will remain in effect until further notice.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
