MH girls finish 3rd in Conway wrestling tourney

The Mountain Home High School girls’ wrestling team took part in the Conway Girls Invitational on Friday. The Lady Bombers ended up finishing fifth on the day.

Amelia Frounfelter led Mountain Home by finishing second in the 165-pound division. Leigha Gatewood was third in the 140, Gracie Wisniowski ended up third in the 150, Jasmin Flores took fourth place in the 100, Emalyn Stephens finished fourth in the 108, Brianna Balsano was fourth in the 132, Mackenzi Clark ended up fifth in the 100, Jordan Cruse took fifth place in the 185, and Lillian Wood finished fifth in the 235.

The Lady Bombers will return home Tuesday to compete in a quad meet on the junior high campus. Mountain Home’s boys will compete in the Conway Boys Invitational Saturday starting at 9.
