Flippin gets 2 wins against Cotter, Izard County drops 2 games at home

In high school basketball in the area Monday night, Flippin won a pair of games at home over Cotter.
The Bobcats took the varsity boys’ game 44-40. The Bobcats improve to 14-8, while the Warriors fall to 14-10 on the year.
In the varsity girl’s contest, Flippin downed Cotter 55-51 to move their record to 13-7. The Lady Warriors drop to 12-7.

Izard County dropped a pair of games at home against Lead Hill.
The Tigers won the varsity boys’ game 56-50 to improve to 14-14. The Cougars fall to 11-9.
Lead Hill topped Izard County in the senior girls’ contest 57-46. The Lady Tigers are now 7-19, while the Lady Cougars fall to 1-12.
