A spokesperson at the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office says the highways are in decent shape. Some county roads aren’t bad for travel, some are completely covered, and others are in between.

A Marion County sheriff’s dispatch spokesperson says crews are still working throughout the county. The highways are mainly clear, but there may be some issues on the back roads.

IDriveArkansas.com is showing most of the issues with the area’s major highways are in Izard County. Arkansas Highway 5 has slush throughout its short run in the county, Arkansas Highway 9 has slush from the Fulton/Izard county line to Melbourne, and Arkansas Highway 69 has slush from Melbourne to just south of Cushman.

A spokesperson at the Ozark County Sheriff’s Office says most roads are open, but some of the back roads are still covered. The Missouri Department of Transportation’s traveler information map is showing Missouri Highway 5 is mostly clear throughout Ozark and Douglas counties, and Highway 160 is mainly clear from Gainesville to eastern Ozark County and completely clear continuing east to West Plains. Missouri Highway 14 is partly covered from Ava and continuing northwest to Dogwood.
