MOUNTAIN HOME, Ark. — Baxter Regional Medical Center’s Sleep Durable Medical Equipment (DME) program has earned a three-year accreditation from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) by demonstrating no deficiencies and operating at a level of quality, integrity and effectiveness consistent with ACHC standards.
Baxter Regional Sleep DME underwent a rigorous, unannounced onsite review the week of Jan. 5. During the visit, the reviewer evaluated compliance with ACHC standards spanning several areas including competency assessments, equipment management and proof of proper licensure.
“The visiting surveyor had nothing but praise for our Sleep DME staff and the work they have done,” says David Fox, vice president and COO of Baxter Regional. “We are proud of our staff’s ongoing pursuit of providing excellent care to every patient, every time.”
ACHC is an internationally recognized accrediting body, remaining committed to providers, customer service and quality patient care.
