
The Mountain Home High School soccer teams opened their seasons at home Tuesday night against Greene County Tech with mixed results.
The Bombers were 3-0 winners over the Eagles. James Douglas had a hat trick with three goals. Assists were provided by Talen Palmer, Blaine Tate, Kelso Haught, William Bevel and Isaiah Kemp. Cade Yates had two saves in goal.
Greene County Tech won the girls’ match 2-0.
In the J.V. boys’ match, Greene County Tech prevailed 1-0. Zane Darracq and Palmer each had two goal saves.
The Mountain Home boys will play in a tournament at Paragould this weekend, while the Lady Bombers take part in the Lady Patriot Invitational at Marion.
