The Marion County Transfer Station will be closed Friday. According to Marion County Judge John Massey, additional concrete work for awnings over compactor units needs to be completed.
The transfer station will be open on Saturday from 8 to noon. It’s normally open on the first and third Saturday of each month unless it falls within a holiday.
