An Ozark County man suffered what was termed as a “possible injury” from a two-vehicle accident Tuesday morning in Baxter County. Thirty-year-old Lucas Strong of Gainesville was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center.
According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Strong was traveling on Arkansas Highway 201 South. A pickup truck driven by 51-year-old Russell Hough of Richland, Missouri, was stopped at the intersection of Shipps Ferry Road and Highway 201 preparing to turn, and 30-year-old Michael Deboer of Ozark, Missouri, was Hough’s passenger. As Strong’s vehicle was making the corner, his vehicle was struck by Hough’s truck in the passenger rear door. Strong’s vehicle reportedly spun around and rolled onto its driver’s side.
Deboer and Hough were not injured in the 9:55 a.m. accident. Damage to Hough’s vehicle was estimated at $15,000.
