A water outage has been planned for portions of the city of Gainesville on Tuesday. According to the city’s Facebook, the area will include the east side of Missouri Highway 5 to Cedar Oak Drive and the south side of U.S. Highway 160 across from the intersection with Highway 5.
Gainesville’s center water tower is expected to be drained, cleaned and inspected per requirements from the Department of Natural Resources. The outage will start at 7 and should be completed no later than 4:30.
