The Ava High School girls’ basketball team is one win away from punching its ticket to the Show Me Showdown. The Lady Bears defeated Seneca 48-30 in the sectional round of the Class 2 State Tournament Tuesday at Nixa. Ava improves to 22-5 on the season and will meet Helias Catholic in the quarterfinals Saturday at Lebanon.
