
Tickets are still available for The Choir of Man Wednesday evening show at 7 on the campus of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home (ASUMH).
The ASUMH social media page Tuesday afternoon notes The West End production of The Choir of Man has officially been nominated for the 2022 Olivier Award for Best Entertainment or Comedy Play.
The Olivier Awards are the United Kingdom’s equivalent to the Tony Awards.
Promotional materials for the performance note, “Known across the globe as ‘the ultimate feel-good show,’ The Choir of Man offers indisputable joy! It’s a party. It’s a concert. It’s a pint-filled good time set in a working pub that combines hair-raising harmonies, high-energy dance, and live percussion with foot-stomping choreography. The multi-talented cast of nine handsome blokes sings everything — pub tunes, folk, Broadway, classic rock — all to roof-raising heights. It’s the best singing, dancing, stomping, pub-crawl-of-a-concert you’ll ever attend! CHEERS!”
Tickets for the performance are $35 for adults or $17.50 for students.
