Norfork girls beat Mammoth Spring for Class 1A state title

The Norfork High School girls’ basketball team finished the season at the top of Class 1A on Friday. The Lady Panthers came back from being down seven in the third quarter to defeat Mammoth Spring for the state championship Friday at Hot Springs by a final of 48-43.

Kiley Alman was named the tournament’s most valuable player after leading Norfork in the game with 22 points, and Ashlyn Estes added 12.  Brynn Washam scored 15 points for the Lady Bears

The Lady Panthers finish the year with a record of 36-8. Mammoth Spring ends up 32-8.
