Baseball and softball make up much of the local Monday schedule.
In high school baseball, Cotter travels to Lead Hill, Norfork makes the trip to Viola, Flippin hosts Highland, Yellville-Summit entertains Jasper, Salem heads to Melbourne, Izard County is home against Greers Ferry West Side, Mammoth Spring travels to Maynard, Marshall hosts Omaha, and Mountain View makes the trip to Searcy to meet Harding Academy.
The softball schedule includes three teams meeting at Salem. Viola faces Hillcrest at 4 and the Lady Greyhounds at 5. Salem then plays Hillcrest at 6:30.
Elsewhere, Cotter entertains Norfork, Flippin heads to Quitman, Yellville-Summit is home against Jasper, Calico Rock travels to Shirley, Izard County hosts Greers Ferry West Side, Melbourne makes the trip to Tuckerman, Marshall heads to Omaha, and Valley Springs travels to Rose Bud.
