The Mountain Home City Council will consider eight items of new business when it meets in regular session Thursday evening at 6.The items include proposed ordinances amending the rates charged city customers for water and sewer service.
In addition, the council will consider a usage variance for a specialty restaurant that would be located at 1039 South College.
The council will consider amendments to job classifications and compensation for some positions in the Water/Sewer Department, as well as the creation of new ones.
The fire department is requesting to dispose or donate a couple of items.
An ordinance waiving competitive bidding and authorizing the purchase of a van with the installation of sewer camera equipment is also on the agenda.
The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Mountain Home Municipal Building.
