The Mountain Home School Board will discuss a proposal at its regular March meeting Thursday evening to set a date for a special election later this year.  Voters would be asked to approve a millage increase to fund remodeling the high school buildings constructed in 1966. The price tag for the multi-year project is estimated at $47 million.

The board will also be asked to approve the purchase of an upgrade to the HVAC system at the Guy Berry building and several policy changes.

The board also has an executive session scheduled to discuss personnel items. Among the positions the board needs to fill are two principal jobs.

The meeting begins at 6 at the administration building on Rodeo Drive.
