Baseball and softball make up much of the local Thursday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will be in Springdale for a meeting with Shiloh Christian. The varsity game begins at 4:30 followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Life Way Christian for a doubleheader, Norfork travels to Flippin, Viola makes the trip to Concord, Calico Rock entertains Izard County, Salem heads to Mammoth Spring, Melbourne is home against White County Central, Marshall travels to Green Forest, and Harrison makes the trip to Siloam Springs.
Mountain Home will also send its high school softball team on the road for an outing with Jonesboro. The varsity game starts at 4:30, and the J.V. contest will follow.
In other softball, Flippin heads to Bergman, Viola travels to Concord, Calico Rock hosts Izard County, Salem makes the trip to Pleasant Plains to face Midland, Valley Springs heads to Lincoln for a doubleheader, and Harrison travels to Gentry.
