A fishing tournament to benefit foster kids in northern Arkansas and southern Missouri will be held this weekend.
The Casting for Kids Bass Classic tournament is set for Saturday.
Gary Cupp, from Children’s Home Inc., was a recent guest on KTLO-FM’s Talk of the Town, speaking about the upcoming fishing tournament and its relationship to foster children.

This will be the 10th tournament after a two-year absence due to COVID-19. The last tournament saw 120 – 130 boats participating.
Prizes this year will include a $1,000 cash grand prize, $1,500 gift certificate for a stay at Big Cedar Lodge near Branson, a $500 Bass Pro gift card, Yeti coolers and fishing tackle from sponsors.
Registration starts Saturday morning at 5:30 at the Lake Norfork Marina office at Henderson. The fee is $80 per boat.
