The early part of the week looks to be active weather wise with the possibility of severe weather Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Severe weather Sunday night and early Monday morning stayed north of the Twin Lakes Area, but that looks to change as early as Monday afternoon. The Storm Prediction Center has most of the Twin Lakes Area in the “enhanced” category of severe weather. An enhanced risk for severe weather means numerous severe storms are possible and are more persistent and widespread with a few instances of very intense storms.

Meteorologist Willie Gilmore with the National Weather Service in North Little Rock says we can expect a few showers and storms this morning but the severe weather chances will be later in the day.
