The Yellville-Summit High School track teams had a second and fourth place finish at the Rosson Invitational at Harrison Thursday.
The Lady Panthers finished second behind Pea Ridge. The Panthers were fourth. Pea Ridge also won the boy’s title.
Individually for the Yellville-Summit girls, Kambree Gibson won the high point award after winning the long jump and 100 meter hurdles, finishing second in the triple jump and 100 meter dash and placing third in the 200 meter dash. Also for the Lady Panthers, KJ Moore won the 300 meter hurdles and was second in the high jump and fourth in the pole vault and 200 meter dash, Abby Methvin was fourth in the triple jump and fifth in the 300 meter hurdles, Erica Pyle was fourth in the 3200 meter run, Kaylee Martin was fourth in the 800 meter run and Emily Pena was fourth in the discus.
In team events for the Lady Panthers, the 4×800 meter relay team of Matilda Bergeron, Kadence Doshier, Lucia Zuniga and Neysa Hoolihan finished second. The 4×100 team of Jacey Davenport, Gibson, Methvin and Moore was second. Finishing second in the 4×800 meter relay was the team of Moore, Martin, Methvin and Davenport.
Flippin’s Hannah Penn was second in the shot put and third in the discus and Madi Hopson was third in the 800 meter run.
Invidually for the Panthers, Tyler Barrett won the shot put and discus, Lucas McVay was fourth in the pole vault, Jaxton Decker was fourth in the 300 meter hurdles and Rafe Heap was fourth in the 400 meter dash and fifth in the 800 meter run.
In team events for Yellville-Summit, finishing third in the 4×200 meter relay was the team of Robert Howell, Javen Keymer, Caiden Curtis and Tristin Teel. The 4×100 meter relay team of Alex Brotherton, Teel, Landon Keiter and Howell was third. Finishing third in the 4×400 meter relay was the team of Teel, Decker, Howell and Heap. The 4×800 meter relay team of Decker, Brandon McCalla, Copper Swearingen and Howell finished fourth.
Cotter’s Brooks Cheek was fourth in the shot put.
