An AMBER Alert has been issued for a teen reported missing in Hot Springs. Authorities are searching for 17-year-old Trynytee Case after someone communicated a threat over the phone the victim would be killed if her mother didn’t give $10,000 for her return.

According to the Arkansas State Police, Case left her job at the Pour Some Sugar on Me Sweet Shoppe at around 9:15 Monday night. She and another co-worker were walking to their vehicles, parked a block away, when they met an unknown white female standing near another parked vehicle. The unknown female asked to use Case’s phone, saying she was lost, and her parents were staying in a condo in the city. The unknown female reportedly changed her mind, said she needed to utilize the GPS coordinates and asked Case to walk closer to the vehicle.

Case’s co-worker said she would get her vehicle, parked in a parking garage owned by the city of Hot Springs. When she returned, Case was nowhere to be located. The co-worker attempted to call Case’s phone with no answer, and she then contacted the victim’s mother.

The mother attempted to contact her daughter numerous times. When she got an answer, Case said “everything was fine,” but a male voice then came across the phone. The male stated he was demanding $10,000 for Case’s return, or he would kill her and cut her up. The phone then went dead, and no contact has been made since. Case’s phone was pinged and last seen heading south on Arkansas Highway 7 south of Hot Springs.

Case is described as a 5-foot-6 white female, weighing 115 pounds, with a light complexion, hazel eyes and brown hair in a pony tail. She was last seen wearing a blue hoodie with the “Pour Some Sugar on Me” logo, legging-style pants and white tennis shoes. She may be in a white Nissan Versa with the Tennessee license plate number 59B D82.

Anyone with information on Case’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Hot Springs Police Department at 501-651-7711.
