The Arkansas Department of Health has issued two new boil water order notices.
A boil water order has been issued for part of the Fulton County Water Association south of Salem. The Arkansas Department of Health issued the boil order for customers along the following roads: Young Road, Big Oak Lane, Ridgewood Lane and Valley Wood Lane.
The boil order was issued Tuesday morning following a lightning strike and will remain in effect until further notice.
A boil water order is also in effect for part of Morning Star Water Association in Marshall.
The Arkansas Department of Health issued the boil order for customers in the area from Password Road on Highway 14 North through Rock Creek and Coza Home.
The order was issued Tuesday morning after a water line break and will remain in effect until further notice.
All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
