Law enforcement in Stone County are investigating two deaths and the sheriff is warning residents to stay inside and keep their doors locked. Sheriff Lance Bonds issued a statement shortly after 11 Thursday night saying the Stone County Sheriff’s Office and the Arkansas State Police are conducting two separate death investigations in the Ben community southeast of Mountain View.
The sheriff says there is not an active shooter at this time and deputies are patrolling the area. He urged residents in the area to stay in their homes and keep their doors locked.
