Baseball and softball make up much of the local Monday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School softball team begins the week by returning to McClain Park for an outing with Melbourne. The varsity game begins at 4 at Freedom Field followed by the junior varsity contest.
Elsewhere, Cotter hosts Green Forest, Norfork travels to Brockwell for a doubleheader with Izard County, Flippin makes the trip to Elkins, Yellville-Summit heads to Omaha, Viola entertains Rural Special, Bakersfield travels to Willow Springs, Gainesville is home against Norwood, and Harrison makes the trip to Siloam Springs.
In high school baseball, Norfork hosts Calico Rock for Senior Night, Yellville-Summit entertains Valley Springs, Gainesville is home against Norwood, and Melbourne heads to Carlisle.
