The City of Mountain Home Water Department will testing the system for leaks late Monday and Tuesday nights which will result in water being turned off to certain locations for a short time. The city says the water will be shut off intermittently for about 30 minutes while the testing is being conducted.
Monday night, testing will be done in zone one which includes everything on 201 North north of Highway 5; Highway 5 North and Dyer Street to Highway 178 west; and Dyer Street from that line west to Midway. That will be everything around the Hospital, Spring Park subdivision, Northern Hills subdivision and west to Midway.
Tuesday night, testing will be conducted in zones two and three and possibly four. Zone two is from the Ultimate Auto dealerships west to Gassville which includes the Town Park and Big Creek subdivisions. Zone 3 includes Carlisle Highlands subdivision and everything from the bypass south on Highway 5 South. Zone four is Bradley Drive and Highway 62 East to Burger King, and the Village Green, Village Green West, Valley Estates and east part of Indian Creek subdivisions.
The city says if zone four is not completed Tuesday night, test will be conducted Wednesday night.
