Searcy Co. boil order lifted, 1 more put in place

The Arkansas Department of Health has lifted the boil water notice for Morning Star Water Association in Marshall.

The notice was put in place last Wednesday due to a water line break. The order, affecting customers along Password Road on Highway 14 North through Rock Creek and Coza Home was lifted Monday morning.

A boil order notice has been issued for Parthenon Water Association in Newton county.

The notice has been put into effect for customers in the area along Lone Beach Road due to a main break in the water line and will remain in place until further notice.

All affected customers are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
