A woman pled guilty to charges against her, including breaking or entering and theft, during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Monday.
As she was being sentenced, 39-year-old Courtney Rene Hall of Mountain Home told Circuit Judge John Putman that she was “ashamed” of what she had done.
Hall was put on probation for six years.
On February 15, reports came into the Gassville Police Department of the theft of credit and ID cards from a vehicle, then a woman beating on the door of a residence and finally a woman using an electrical outlet on the back deck of another house to charge her cellphone.
The incidents were all eventually traced to Hall.
Hall was contacted and told to bring the stolen credit cards to the Gassville Police Department. She agreed, but did not follow through.
She eventually left the cards at a convenience store, but not before having made two purchases and sending herself $100 through a cash app.
