Baseball and softball are included on the local Wednesday schedule.
The Mountain Home High School baseball team will be at McClain Park for the final time this season. It’s Senior Night for the Bombers as they host a 5A-West doubleheader with Greenbrier. The first game at Pitts Field is scheduled for 4:30.
The 1A-1 East District Baseball Tournament will be played at Lead Hill. Ozark Mountain takes on the host and top-seeded Tigers at 4, and Omaha plays Jasper at 5:30. The winners will play for the title at 7.
Valley Springs will be on the road for its first game in the 3A-1 District Tournament. It will be a battle between Tigers as Valley Springs plays at Green Forest at 5.
The Mountain Home High School softball team will also have Senior Night. The Lady Bombers are set to welcome Greenbrier to McClain Park for a doubleheader. The opening game at Freedom Field gets underway at 4:30.
Lead Hill will be the site for the 1A-1 East District Softball Tournament. The host Lady Tigers and Omaha get underway at 4, and Ozark Mountain goes up against top-seeded Lead Hill at 5:30. The winners compete for the championship at 7.
Bergman hits the road for the opener of the 3A-1 District Tournament. The Lady Panthers will play at Green Forest starting at 5.
