The Mountain Home High School Baseball team lost both ends of a double header at home Wednesday against Greenbrier.

The Panthers took the first game 11-1.

In the second game, Greenbrier topped the Bombers 10-5. For Mountain Home, Tony Fox went two for four and drove in two runs and Reed Ellison drove in a pair of runs.

Mountain Home is now 14-10 on the season and will travel to Alma Tuesday.

Mountain Home head coach Greg Crow says “Sometimes you just run into someone who’s better than you on that night. Tip your hat to Greenbrier. I thought our kids played hard and we were a strike call away in the third from being out with a 3-1 lead. It just didn’t go our way. We’re not going to hang our head about it.   Still have a lot of season left and a lot to play for. We have to go to Alma and find a way to win a game next week, It is as simple as that”.
