Williams Baptist wins AMC Championship at Big Creek

A few men’s college golf teams finished the American Midwest Conference Championship Tuesday at Big Creek Golf and Country Club, and the host school won the title. Williams Baptist had a total of 606 to finish one stroke ahead of William Woods and Columbia College.

Missouri Baptist was fourth at 613, Lyon College ended up fifth at 623, and Central Baptist College took sixth place at 631.

Chance Matthews of Williams Baptist was the individual medalist with a two-day total of 146. Noah Wilson of Columbia was two strokes back to finish second, and TCamyler Parr of Williams Baptist, Logan Smith of William Woods and Cam Vanleer of Columbia ended up in a three-way tie for third at 149.
