A record high temperature has been tied and the record breaking heat looks to continue for a few days in the Twin Lakes Area.

The high temperature Tuesday afternoon climbed to 90 degrees, tying the original record set 120 years ago in 1902.

With the forecast calling for high temperatures of 92 Wednesday and Thursday, more records could fall. The record high for both days is 90 degrees.

A break from the heat and humidity arrives Friday with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.
