The 34th-annual Funtastic Big Bass Tournament is scheduled for Sunday with several cash prizes to be given away. Anglers can launch from any location on Bull Shoals Lake, but hourly weigh-ins will be held at Oakland Marina.
The tournament, presented by the Lake Norfork Bass Club, will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until 4 p.m. At each hourly weigh-in, first place will receive $100, second place will get $75, and $50 will go to the third place contestant. The overall Big Bass winner will receive a grand prize of $1,000. Hourly reports can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.
The entry fee is $35, and there is an optional smallmouth pot for an additional $5. Checks should be made payable to “Lake Norfork Bass Club.” Registration forms are available at boat docks, local tackle stores and KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot.
