Minor damage to courthouse struck by SUV; driver avoids injury

Minor damage was caused to the Baxter County Courthouse when it was struck by an SUV Tuesday afternoon. According to the Mountain Home Police Department, the incident occurred when the unidentified driver accidently hit the gas pedal, and the vehicle traveled onto the lawn around the square and struck the courthouse’s brick wall. The SUV also had minor damage, and the driver was not injured.
