The Mountain Home American Legion baseball junior teams got their seasons started Wednesday night by playing each other at Cooper Park.
In the first game, MacLeod defeated Alley-White Post 52 by a score of 8-6. For MacLeod, Ethan Carter went two for three and drove in a pair of runs. Cash Arnhart earned the win on the mound.
In the second game, the teams played to a 5-5 tie. MacLeod’s offense was led by Isiah Wood who went two for three. Charlie Bailey worked three innings and Jordan Corbett pitched two innings with each giving up just one hit.
