Another boil order for Mountain View Waterworks

Another boil order has been issued for a portion of Mountain View Waterworks in Stone County. The order was put in effect Monday morning for the area around Tinkle Circle. The boil order was issued due to a water line break.

The new order is one of two currently in effect for Mountain View Waterworks. The other was issued Friday morning for the Ledges Road area due to a water line break.

Another boil order continues for the Lakeview-Midway Public Water Authority in Baxter County. The order was put in effect Wednesday afternoon for the area including Lakeview Cove Place due to a main break.

The boil order for the entire Guion Water Association system in Izard County was lifted Monday morning. The order had been in effect since July 21 due to a main break.

All affected customers of current boil orders are advised the water may be unsafe for human consumption, and water used for drinking or food preparation must be boiled briskly for one minute prior to use. All ice cubes should be discarded and only boiled water used for making ice.
