A Gassville man facing new drug charges appeared in Baxter County Circuit Court last Monday.
Twenty-nine-year-old Dakota Hamilton Cole entered a guilty plea and was sentenced to four years in prison with a judicial transfer to a Community Corrections Center
LATEST ARREST
Coles latest arrest came April 20 when a Gassville police officer went to his home along Arrowhead Drive to take him into custody on an active warrant.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the officer located Cole sitting in a vehicle parked at the residence.
FLUSHES MARIJUANA
The officer reported seeing another man go into the residence. When the second man was located inside Coles bedroom, he admitted he had flushed marijuana down the toilet.
Cole had an active search waiver on file permitting a warrantless search of his person or property.
The Gassville officer said that, at the request of Coles probation officer, he searched Coles residence.
SEARCH OF RESIDENCE
According to court records, the search turned up a number of items — including methamphetamine, marijuana, pipes for smoking the drugs, a meth bong, a grinder for marijuana, a hydrocodone pill, and marijuana gummies.
