The Mountain Home High School tennis teams were able to get victories in Monday’s outing that was shortened by rain. The weather had forced the teams to move the venue from Russellville to the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville.
The Bomber boys were able to win four matches over Alma. Stratton Smith and Finley Chafin took their singles matches, and the team of Zane Darracq and Pierce Blackmon and the team of Jordan Corbett and Will Bevel got wins in doubles play.
Mountain Home also got four wins over Greenwood on the girls’ side. Macie Heide and Campbell Lance won their singles matches, and doubles victories came from the team of Bianca Talbot and Hannah Baker and the team of Kelsey Blackwell and Bella Dotson.
Mountain Home will look to schedule remaining matches at a later date.
