
The Mountain Home Junior High volleyball teams won two of three matches at Cotter Monday evening to begin the season.
In the junior high match, Mountain Home prevailed by scores of 25-23 and 25-15. For the Junior Lady Bombers, Cara Jackson had nine assists, one kill and one ace; Aspen Vostatek had six assists and four kills; Lauren Rauls finished with eight digs and three aces; Kori Scroggins had five digs and three aces; and Daelyn Harper finished with two blocks and two kills.
Cotter won the 8th grade match by scores of 25-21, 15-25 and 15-8.
Mountain Home won the 7th grade match by scores of 25-20, 17-25 and 15-8.
