The Mountain Home High School volleyball team got the season started with a win at home over Batesville Tuesday night. The Lady Bombers won 3-2, winning by scores of 21-25, 25-23, 25-17, 19-25 and 15-11.
For Mountain Home, Carson Schmitz had 17 kills, 13 assists and three aces; Lindsay Jensen finished with 10 kills, 23 assists and three aces; Anna McCarn had eight kills and two blocks; Lauren Wehmeyer had six kills and three blocks; Emma Wilber had three blocks; Cate Jackson finished with 23 digs and two aces; Kayle Harper collected 11 digs and three aces; and Addison Martz had 13 digs and two aces.
In the J.V. match, Mountain Home won 25-22. Karleigh Drewry served eight aces and Ali Czantskowski had nine aces and ten assists.
