Thursday’s junior high football schedule includes the season opener for two of Mountain Home’s teams. The eighth and ninth graders will start the year at a neutral site as they meet El Dorado in Cabot.
Mountain Home’s freshman program is coming off an undefeated season. Junior Bombers’ head coach Greg Crow says he’s pleased with the preparations this year’s squad has had going into the year.

The eighth grade game kicks off at 5:30 at Panther Stadium followed by the freshman contest.
Elsewhere, Salem hosts Earle, Melbourne entertains Hoxie, and Harrison is home against Russellville. On the eight-man level, Izard County travels to Mountain View.
