Missouri Department of Transportation crews are underway with a pavement-repair project on an area highway. A portion of Missouri Highway 17 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane from 7 to 4 each day through Sept. 6.
The project begins at the intersection with U.S. Highway 63 in West Plains and continues to the state line, where the road becomes Arkansas Highway 395 in Fulton County. The work zone is being marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
