
A Mountain Home man was arrested following a domestic dispute Tuesday, that sent a female victim to the hospital, and who was later airlifted to Springfield for her injuries. A felony charge of domestic battery in the second degree has been filed against 31-year-old Joshua Caleb Woodell.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Mountain Home Police Department received a report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s office a victim had been assaulted at her residence on Rossi Road. The victim stated Woodell began hitting her after they had been involved in a verbal argument. She said he repeatedly struck her with his fist to her face and kicked her on her right side. The victim did advise law enforcement alcohol and drugs were involved. She was able to leave and walk to a nearby gas station where she made contact with authorities. The victim was transported to Baxter Health for her injuries and then airlifted to a hospital in Springfield for further treatment.
Woodell is free on $10,000 bond and he was ordered no contact with the victim.
