High school football dominates the local Friday schedule, and for Mountain Home, it will be the last road trip of the regular season. The Bombers will be near the Oklahoma state line for an outing with Van Buren.
Mountain Home and the Pointers are part of a three-way tie for sixth place in the 6A-West, along with Greenbrier. Both teams are currently 1-7 on the season and 1-5 in the conference. The Bombers are coming off a homecoming victory over Siloam Springs, and Van Buren fell to Little Rock Christian last week. Mountain Home head coach Steve Ary says this is a matchup between teams with a lot to play for.
